Broncos Pregame Take

If JaMarcus Russell can win in Denver, so can Jason Campbell. Time to right the ship!

YES!!!....

"RT"...

That was the answer to your question on the last thread...

Must win of must wins is today not because we would be out of it but because this team needs to step up and make a statement...It needs to gain an identity...It needs to gain some faith and momentum on which to build a season...

If not...We appear more like a pin-ball bouncing along aimlessly not know where we end up and that don't translate into "V"s...

Oh!...Forgot...

Time to head on into the Catina here in Carlsbad and rub shoulders with those Charger fans while they lay down their crying thing because the Patsy "Cheatsters" are demolishing all this seasons hopes...The door has closed on their run for the "SB" while ours is yet to open...

Please let it be today that someone puts a foot in that damn door and keeps it from slamming shut on us...

"PantyRaider....Return For All That "Crying Thing" After The Game..."

Sounds like someone is predicting another loss.

What's worse, crying about a loss before it happens, or critiquing the game after it's played?

- I think Cable has Campbell on a short leash today. He doesn't deserve any more.

- Blitzing against Orton (who gets rid of the ball quickly) could be ineffective, so don't expect to see much blitzing.

- Raiders desperately need to make screens a part of their offense.

I call this a must-win game. Excuses are for losers.

When I come back, I expect to be pimpin’ a well-played game by a team that showed me nothing good last week.

This is hysterical! Go Raiders! Slack-jawed Coloradans, now what do you have to say?

This is crazy. I can't recall the last time the Raiders jumped all over an opponent 30+ points to nothing in just over 15 minutes.

Hah! 45 points. Make it 50, so they'll never forget it.

Whoa!!!

This is not real is it? Why hasn't this team played like this at the beginning of the season? I really have no clue.

This win doesn't erase the last 6 weeks mind you. Can we keep this momentum going? That's the question.

I don't want to hear shit about the past 6 weeks. Enjoy this win because it was a long time coming.

AHHHH! What really can be said about this game except, it was surreal!

Can we play the Broncos every week? Please???

If you're a Raiders fan, that was like winning the lottery... franchise record scoring.

Suddenly we're 2-0 in the division and we're capable of putting up 59 points in a game? Huh?

Like I said, surreal!

An opportunistic defense, using the screen as an offensive weapon, converting red zone opportunities, creative play design (Miller TD in 1st quarter), not taking the foot off the accelerator, and throttling the Donkeys in their home building ... priceless!

2 big games coming up before the bye week. Both at home. Both winnable. Let's rip the sea chickens wings off and destroy the KC Condiments.

Enjoy the win Raider fans!

You can see the difference in the Raiders when Mcfadden is healthy, and on the field.

Mcfadden looked like budding star today, and not another wasted 1st rounder.

Could there be hope for DHB down the road as well ?

Can the Raiders show up big time for 2 games in a row ?

One game out of 1st place, and this thing is getting interesting again.

Anti-Clown Car. Classic. Definitely a Ferrari-style performance today.

McFadden truly looked liked a superstar today. I was concerned he might press and re-injure himself, but he was spectacular til they pulled him.

McClain got a sack and made a couple nice plays in his best game as a pro. Seymour looked like he was playing for the Patriots, or something.

As I know many of you are too... I’m floored. That was fun to watch! (Note to Gary: Now I’m entertained.)

Q: Where was DHB in this game? Did he play at all, or was it a coaches decision to keep him out? I'm dying to know. Nick Miller showed his stuff with that sideline grab in the 3rd. And he looks good returning punts... put on some nice moves.

Heaven for Raiders fans!

In Denver no less.

And yet the team is still getting mocked in all the highlight shows like it couldn't possibly be for real. Pisses me off, but they must show they're for real by winning two in a row.

Angelic Raider-

Just got back from the game, it was amazing!!! Did we look as good on the TV as we did live? I might not be able to talk for the next few days. Raider fans we won the game but the best part of the game was how quite the stadium was for 54 min.

GO RAIDERS!!!

Well gosh... whoddathinkit? lol

A person that thinks there should be pro-bowlers at every position and anything less than a SB winning season is a complete disaster, is FINALLY entertained this week? (hyperbole)

The game was actually pretty boring the second half... but I'll be bored like that every week, thankyou!

Whoever our RB coach is this year deserves coach of the year consideration... McFadden looks like a completely different player... perhaps the NFLs best RB?

The people that stunk the field up last week all played well this week (why anyone still calling for Cable's head is on drugs).

I saw the ACCOUNTABILITY he was bragging about... perhaps for the first time this year.

Hopefully we can now avoid the overconfidence that I think might have killed us last week.

BTW... who is the first IAAFer to admit they were WRONG about Al drafting McFadden? I'm not holding my breathe.

Doesn't surprise me that Campbell was capable of playing well. Just knowing how consistent he's been over his career clues me in to where the issues are. He's never been a favorite of mine, but he's had a fairly decent NFL career up until joining the Raiders. People clamoring for 3rd string level QB's who have never played as well as Campbell over a full season are missing the boat. Is Campbell the kind of QB that can put you on his shoulders and take you to the promised land? No. But is he by far and away the best QB on our roster based on talent and past play? No doubt about it. The primary reason for our poor offensive play has been philosophy and coaching. Let's not forget that this merry-go-round has been spinning, no matter the QB.

raider00, McFadden was a dominating collegiate player known being explosive, but also for being injury prone (some scouts questioned his field vision as well). That he can perform up to NFL standards is not surprising though. Dude was considered the best RB in the country. What would be surprising is if he could stay healthy for an entire season.

DHB on the other hand dropped balls regularly in college, barely got in the end zone and barely caught any passes over the course of his collegiate score. For all the kid's speed, he rarely gets open. The only reason he was drafted early was because of his speed. I don't buy the comparison. I doubt DHB will be playing in this league in a couple of years.

I think McFadden would need to perform well against an elite team to be considered anywhere near the best RB in football. More importantly, he would need to play more games.

Gotta say, we played well; but Denver's D was non-existent. Our play-calling wasn't THAT good. Looks like most of their key defensive players are on crutches. That said, I thought our D played mostly inspired football. It probably felt good for them to be playing with points on their side.

Exactly Bro...Hold the breath and your eyes will bug out before any of these criers admit to a thing...Their too worried about finding fault like that "DHB" was non-productive in a 59-14 blow-out when he was the leading receiver last week as if that means anything.....Pure stupidity on the "Board of Tears"...

OK...I was a little out of line earlier but ya know what...I don't freakin care...I was so ampt up the whole Catina Bar in Carlsbad was on it's heels while crying at 2-n-5...

Than some would be pretentious "Jets Fan" (Charger In Hiding) comes up and tries to tell me to calm down because I'm scaring folks...Right!!!...So come to find out that punk talkin about being from the Bronks doesn't even know where Jamaica is or I-278 or Harland Tunnel let alone Conney Island -n- Long Island City so's I puts his ass up against the wall with me knee in his groin and he begs off and back to the bar crying with the rest of his bread...

OK!...I didn't mean to get so off but it started before the kick-off...The fat bitch bar-keep tells me she is going to shut down my Raider game for some damn "SeaChicken" fan and shit hits the wall so she puts it on in the corner...Ya know like all Raider fans of 1 go stand in the corner type shit...Right!!!...Now that works well...

So as things develop I'm all over the bar in everyone's face with my heroic teams display of "Game" while their quietly being spanked by the "Patsy"s...It builds and just keeps going Baby!!!...

Than I demand that that fat bitch Bar-Keep refill my wheat beer for free after shoving me out of my seat...She complies and we have a little fun with that...Than some damn bitch charger fan comes in and spills my half MT beer and her man buys me a fresh round...Next thing I know there poring down like water and I'm unexpectedly buzzed...Maybe full fledged drunk which hasn't happened in so long of "Wagon Hoppin" that I didn't remember what it was like...

So by the 4th Charger fans are leaving the bar in depression and I'm taking over the place like it was Raider Country...As a mater of fact I was so ampt up that I didn't know how we got from 52 to 59 until I looked it up on the net...

But I dearly love that play where they fumble 3 times before recovering it...That was a continuation of the "Comedy of Errors" that defined this contest......But this time it was them not us...

So All I can say now is I'm ecstatic and will be back later to post the stats as usual...Got carried away but had loads of fun doing it...Can't remember the last time I felt so damn good...

This was the statement game I posted we need to make and we made it 100 fold...
