Red Zone Blues

First quarter take: Great start overall, but just can't seem to punch it in. Defense needs to hold strong. Love the Raider Hater announcers. They sound worried, which is a good sign.

Walterssss!!! Waltersss!!! Walterssss!!! Jamarcus is making this game closer that it should be, we should be making this a blow out!MC Fadden is hurt, why is he in??? start Bush and the rookie Rankin...band offensive play calls too making for a closer game. so we can make adjustments on the whole defensive team, but we cant make one on the quarterback???

Hey Faida Boy, why don't you go back to your coloring book? That will help pass the time while you wait to catch the yellow short bus tomorrow.

Dan Fouts must be trying to get a job from big al (MR.) davis the way he's sticking his nose up the "genius'" arse! The fizzlers will still lose so don't get too excited fizzler fanatics! chokeland fizzlers got a freebee form the conspiricy refs when they got the INT that realy wasn't, but even with refs who love the fizzlers, they'll lose. 1-15, just fizzle baby, defund the "notion"

should of never been this close of a game...we have no field general on our side with Jamarcus... wake up people!! start Walters already im sure he would of at least thrown two tochdowns (in the first half we had ball posesion avg from where?) or at least got the team close enough to the goal line to punch it in... i put this loss on Jamurcus, and rob ryan going away from what was working all game until the end of game change to prevent defense...and now Al will fire Lane Kiffin as a counter productive way that he knows best...gooooo Raiders! yay! now lets look at the upside of this... waiting for Blandas spin....

Rob Ryan You Suck!!!!!!!!!

Why do we play soft zone for the 2nd half? We got burnt on every play?

D Hall You SUCK!!!!!! Why does he play 10 yds off every play? Your an idiot!!!!!!

Money well spent huh Al?

We should have won that game...

Memo to Rob Ryan:
Only thing "prevent defense" does is prevent you from winning.

Memo to Lane Kiffin:
3 pass attempts in one half is offensive version of the "prevent".

Glad I didn't get to watch it,
following playbyplay on internet was bad enough (well was good for 3 qtrs).
Knew it was comming, all we needed to get was a f-ing 1st down.

Can't blame hall for playing 10yds off, I'm sure it was the D that was called.

If it's not f-ing obvious now that you've got to play agressive D, I don't know when it will.

Question is, why do punk-ass no raider fans come on a raider blog anyway? No friends?

kudos to the offensive line again for both pass protection (how many hurry ups, sacks?) and run blocking (should of not started Mc Fadden) kudos to the defense minus rob ryan and hall (even though hall got that int, but erased it from our memory quick becuz he finds ways to mess it up)and kudos to our special teams who on the first half gave us the chance to be in scoring position from where and we die what with it ???

Tough loss.

D played aggressively and exceptionally well for the 1st 2.5 quarters. After that, it was soft zone, prevent D, and the D running out of gas.

The back breaker when you look back at this game was the 96 yard TD drive that the Bills had. Up 16 to 7 mid third Q. Bills backed up on 4 yard line. The D let the Bills march up the field for a HUGE TD. A 3 and out and we would have got the ball at midfield or better and more than likely iced the game. It is the difference of 19 to 7 or 23 to 7 vs. 16 to 14.

The red zone ineptitude cost us this game. 3 early FGs for 9 points instead of say 2 TDs and 1 FG for 17 points is an 8 point swing.

The fact that Wakefield saw some action tells you that the 3 man rotation of Warren, Sands, and Kelly can not withstand 4 quarters of action. Both Sands and Kelly's conditioning isn't up to speed. This hurts late in the game as the Bills clearly wore us down and dominated the trenches from the mid 3rd Q to completion.

If anyone can answer the following question, please let me know:

Why on earth did Ryan go to zone coverage with 16 to 7 and 23 to 14 leads?

Prevent D = Prevention of a "W". Uggh.

Head coach big al (MR.) davis ='s no more wins this season! Good luck Mr. Kiffin, you got what the fizzlers don't BALLS!

If the faidas would let Mr. Kiffin do what he was hired to do they'd be competitive, with big al (MR.) davis as acting head giving coach the faidas will continue to lose, it's what they do best!

Al Davis called the defensive plays in the final quarter...If there's a way to lose the game, Al will find it.....great genius!!
