It's business this is the new NFL! All the misfires and screw ups? Do you want football Orr Wallmart and Amazon? They want to get draft picks and a QB. But I thought we wanted football? Did we get played! We want glory a win obsessed front Office with good and bad moves but these Raiders are guys who act li,e they. Ant u derxts d or hate our legacy. Hey. They aren't for us
Ghost, I'd say the Raiders hit rock bottom when Shedeur Sanders beat them. That was the ultimate slap in the face, reaching way past the scouting dept, up to top-level management and ownership. Excuse the expression, but Shedeur Sanders bitch-slapped the entire organization.
Minshew has already beaten the Raiders (as a Colt). That's usually how players get invited to join the Raiders... as if beating them is some monumental accomplishment.
"Las Vegas looked completely overmatched, finishing with only 75 yards of total offense. It marked their second game this season with fewer than 100 yards, matching their earlier 31-0 defeat to Kansas City. The loss extended their skid to eight straight games and made it clear that something is deeply broken within the organization.
The roster lacks talent on both sides of the ball, outside of Maxx Crosby on defense and rookie tight end Brock Bowers on offense. General manager John Spytek has failed to build a balanced roster, and minority owner Tom Brady’s involvement in football decisions has raised concerns about his influence despite his limited availability.
After twelve losses in thirteen games, the Raiders look directionless once again. Unless major changes come this offseason, they risk another wasted year of rebuilding and another chapter in one of the NFL’s most dysfunctional franchises."
Sounds about right. It's the last sentence that really hits home. Are they going to waste another year trying the same thing?
In extreme context, perhaps rock bottom is when the NFL revokes the Raiders franchise, to borrow a phrase from the late great Al Davis, "for cause."
Honestly, I don't know how Mark Davis can watch another minute of the Pete Carroll show. That ship has sunk. Time to start dismantling and make certain that an untimely win during the last 3 games is completely out of the question... a mistake Davis made last year by allowing Antonio Pierce to rally the team right before firing him.
Pickett said it best yesterday to, "We have to change up our running plays, we can't rely on using the same tendencies." That is the way the whole offense has ran this year, on tendencies. Whether it is running or passing the ball, it is the same blocking scheme, the same passing routes, and the same running routes. It is a game of adjustments, and this is something the Raiders have not done well since Musgrave. Even Gruden struggled with adjustments. I've said it the last 20+ years, you see teams and QBs looking at film in game to make adjustments, except the Raiders. This is the worst Raiders team since Art Shell 2, and it may even be worse than the 2006 season.

No surprise today. Another nailbiter.
Raiders have taken what couldn't get worse and somehow made it worse.
Well NY, at this point what's the difference ?
Might as well just lose out and get the top pick. Game vs Giants will be the super bowl of losers. Should be ugly with both teams tanking.
Now that Mahomes is hurt, final insult will be losing last game to Gardner Minshew. Rock bottom ? Raiders never seem to hit it.

This sums it up as well as I read in media...

I believe Jeff Saturday,(coaching), and 45 year old Philip Rivers,(QB), can beat the Raiders 50-0. But that still wouldn't be rock bottom !!

"Stupid" only scratches the surface.
